As a financial analyst, Jake plays an integral role in the various feasibility studies required to take a plan from its concept drawings through to construction. Prior to SHS, Jake interned at the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York as well as a local City Council Member. His most recent position was spent working as an owner's representative for a development site located in Toronto's midtown corridor; he worked with the pre-construction project team to secure development entitlements for the property and also wrote a variety of pro forma models that helped determine the overall financial feasibility of the project. With a graduate degree in Urban Planning concentrating in Economic Development and the Built Environment, it has always been a dream of Jake's to provide widescale and systemic improvements to how we build, finance and expand affordable housing opportunities across Canada. In his role at SHS, he has the opportunity to succeed in this goal.
During his spare time, Jake enjoys running with friends and participating in Marathons across North America.
